physical computing

This class has been interesting so far, and I'm excited about the possibilites for future projects. I've never really worked with electronic physical components before and I have a few ideas that I'd like to try implementing before the semester is over. I have a definite interest in combining such technology with music, perhaps to make an interactive flash game or something of the like.
As far as the current assignment goes, I am not yet sure what I would like to do. The parameters are pretty limited, so I expect everybody will be doing similar projects, though I'd like to make mine as original as possible. First I have to get my hands on a copy of Max for my home PC so I can continue learning how to use that. It seems like an efficient and powerful system for this type of work, so I look forward to using it.
